With the resumption of international travel increasingly
uncertain, The Travel Corporation said it is expanding the number of U.S.
itineraries offered by two of its guided travel brands.
Trafalgar is introducing two “Near Not Far” domestic
itineraries while Insight Vacations has launched three new trips under its
“Escapes” program.
The Near Not Far trips for groups of 26 or fewer include an
eight-day Southwest itinerary with visits to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon,
Arches National Park, Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon.
The second is a six-day trip featuring San Diego, Palm
Springs, Orange County beaches and Joshua Tree National Park.
“The world is filled with wonder and too often we discount
the marvels right in our own backyard. But not this year. We’ve been given an
opportunity to authentically connect Americans with some of their neighbors and
U.S. treasures. It’s an incredible way to step back into travel,” said
Trafalgar USA president Melissa Da Silva.
The new itineraries are in addition to 27 domestic trips
that were already offered by Trafalgar.
Insight Vacations, meantime, is adding three new seven-day
domestic trips in the Southwest, Cajun Country and Hawaii.
Those trips supplement the 14 existing itineraries offered
by Insight and four offered by sister brand Luxury Gold.
