Hilton to open Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas in the Dominican Republic

Hilton will open Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas under its Curio brand umbrella in Las Terrenas, the Dominican Republic in 2028. 

The resort, which will be in on the Samaná Peninsula, will have 252 accommodations (including 90 hotel rooms and 162 residential units) as well as a beach club, four outdoor swimming pools, and a full-service spa,

Hilton says its planned opening of Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas reflects its growing presence in the Caribbean where it plans to nearly double its current portfolio of 50 hotels. In the Dominican Republic, it plans to more than double its current portfolio of nine hotels. It's also seeing a strong demand for luxury and lifestyle hotels, says the company.
